We’re looking for properties where at least two rooms could benefit from a makeover or refurbishment.
We’re particularly interested in homes where a refurbishment could make a real difference to the people living there. You don’t need a perfect home or a big renovation plan. We want to understand your property and your story.
The Eviction USA isn’t just about property.
It’s about people, pressure, problem-solving and what can happen when someone is given an opportunity to make a real change.
As part of your application, we’ll ask you to tell us a little about who you are, the story behind your home and why a refurbishment would make a difference to you.
If selected, your story and the transformation may be filmed and featured as part of The Eviction USA.
Before applying, please make sure:
If You Rent Your Home
You can still apply.
However, we cannot carry out any work unless the property owner has provided written permission.
If you are selected, we will ask for this before any refurbishment begins.
The exact work will depend on the property and the competition challenge.
A refurbishment could potentially involve things such as: decorating, painting, flooring, furniture and styling, storage improvements, cosmetic upgrades, minor repair or improvement works.
The final design, materials and scope will be determined by production.
This is a refurbishment challenge, not a promise of structural renovation or major building work.
If your property is selected, the agreed refurbishment work carried out as part of the competition will be provided at no cost to you.
No, but if you do not own it, you must be able to obtain written permission from the property owner.
The refurbishment forms part of a competition challenge, so we need properties with enough suitable space for contestants to work on multiple areas.
We will ask what you would like improved, but the final design, materials and scope of work will be decided by production.
Potentially, yes. We are looking for properties and stories that can form part of The Eviction USA, so applicants should be comfortable with filming.
The production team will review submissions and contact selected applicants to discuss the property, permissions, access and filming in more detail.
