1. Will Marketers Be Replaced By AI?: AI Copy Is Slop, Customers Ignore It!
When I get an email from a business, I can tell if it is written by AI or not. I think most people can! If it’s AI, I ignore it. I think most people do too!
In the video, I ask AI to write a short promotional piece about me, as a test. It produced a GCSE-level paragraph of alliteration! Clearly not written by a human copywriter, clearly AI slop!
AI produces the most generic slop imaginable, lacking any personality. No one likes receiving it, and it makes people less likely to buy from businesses that send it.
2. Will Marketers Be Replaced By AI?: Faceless YouTube Channels Don’t Work In Property!
Another trend I’ve seen is people promoting creating faceless YouTube channels with AI. They say you can: write the scripts with AI; create the voice-over with AI; and generate the graphics with AI. All technically true, but it isn’t going to help you build a property business!
People want to see you, and get your unique perspective. They don’t want some rehashed rubbish that an AI has pulled from random blogs it found on Google! If you are too nervous to show your face, YouTube isn’t for you!
3. Will Marketers Be Replaced By AI?: People By From People, Not Machines!
Ultimately, people buy from other people. If you get to know someone from their content, you are more willing to do business with them. This is particularly true when it comes to making big purchases or investments, like buying property.
AI cannot create those connections, because it can’t replicate your real personality! If your followers don’t see you as genuine, they won’t buy. That’s why AI slop will hurt your brand overall.
