You need a strategy that allows you to earn based on the value you create, rather than the hours you work. If you don’t have that, it doesn’t matter how hard you work. If you are paid for your time or are on a fixed salary, it will be hard to get rich.
On the other hand, that doesn’t mean you can avoid hard work! Once you find something that brings in good money, the temptation will be to cut back on your hours. If you simply want a lifestyle business, that’s fine. But if you want to become a millionaire, you need to work as if you can’t afford to stop!
2. How To Become A Millionaire Starting With Nothing: A Fast Pound Strategy!
The first step is to find a ‘fast pound’ strategy. This is your active income. This is your business that will bring in money quickly.
In the property world, this could be deal sourcing. This is where you find property deals, and then sell that information to investors for a fee. It could also be a rent to rent business. Rent to rent is renting a property from a landlord, and then letting it out as serviced accommodation or by the room.
3. How To Become A Millionaire Starting With Nothing: A Slow Pound Strategy!
You then take that money you are making from your active business, and put it into investments that bring in cash flow. This is your passive income, or ‘slow pound’ strategy.
Your ‘slow pound’ strategy could be buying property to be used as: HMOs; serviced accommodation; or traditional buy-to-lets. You can use strategies like buy, refurbish, refinance, rent (BRRR) to make your capital go further too!
