In this article, I will give you 5 insane Green Party policies that have the potential to destroy Britain economically. While some of these ideas might look good on the surface, by the end of this article, you will understand just how damaging they could be.
I am worried that people don’t really know the truth about The Green Party, and that many people are getting pulled in by their simplistic ‘solutions’. That’s why I wrote this article. But I need your help to get it to open-minded people who are thinking of voting Green.

1. What Do The Green Party Believe In?: Banning Buy-To-Let Mortgages!
The Greens want to end buy-to-let mortgages! This would crash the property market, while giving renters fewer choices of whom to rent from. This would hurt the economy, and mean lower standards for tenants.
2. What Do The Green Party Believe In?: 4-Day Work Week!
Some local councils have already started trying this, and it has made things even slower!
If this was done throughout the economy it would reduce productivity, turning the UK into a third-world country!
3. What Do The Green Party Believe In?: Pay Ratio Cap!
The Greens want to enforce a 10:1 pay ratio cap. This would mean the highest paid employee at a company cannot be paid more than 10 times the lowest paid employee.
This won’t help low paid employees, rather it will cap high earners. Those high earners will then simply move to places where they can still earn their economic value.
4. What Do The Green Party Believe In?: Rent Control!
Greens want rent control, despite the fact this policy has failed everywhere it has been tried.
If you cap rents, there is no incentive to build new housing. There is also no incentive, or ability, for landlords to maintain existing properties. It hurts tenants, landlords, and society!
5. What Do The Green Party Believe In?: Universal Basic Income (UBI)!
The Greens support Universal Basic Income (UBI). UBI means that everyone is paid a certain minimum amount from the government. While it may sound nice to some, it has serious pitfalls.
The money cannot come from nowhere. The rich know how to protect their money, and will move if the government tries to take it. Ordinary people will pay it! UBI will also mean people won’t have to work, which will hurt productivity. Everyone loses!
