1. How To Make Money Like A Bank: Start A Limited Company!
When you put your money in the bank, it is only fully protected up to the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) limit, the rest is at risk. To invest like a bank, the first step is to create a limited company. This limits your liability if your investments don’t go to plan, similar to how banks limit their liability.
2. How To Make Money Like A Bank: Borrow Money From Investors!
Banks take in deposits, and use that money as a way to create new money which they lend out for profit. You can’t take deposits, or create new money!
What you can do is take business to business loans, and use that money to invest. To do this, you need to understand the process of legally raising finance.
For example, you could borrow money from an investor at 8%. This allows them to make more than they would keeping their cash in the bank.
3. How To Make Money Like A Bank: Invest In Property!
You then take the money you are borrowing at 8%, and use it to invest in property. If you understand creative property strategies, you should be able to make a return of 20% or more. You keep the difference! There are other ways of structuring these deals too, for example as a profit split rather than a loan.
