A lot of people are talking about AI property investment. Some people are concerned that AI (Artificial intelligence) could replace human investors, others see it as a huge opportunity. There are some AI tools that are good for property investment and some that are not. It is essential to know the difference between these tools. It is also important to understand what AI can do and what you need to do yourself as a property investor. In this article, we will look at two AI platforms and what they can, and cannot, do for you in terms of AI property investment. 1. Using ChatGPT For AI Property Investment
One of the most prominent AI platforms out there is ChatGPT. ChatGPT uses machine learning to answer questions based on information that it has been fed from the internet. It has achieved a lot of media attention as it can produce human-like outputs to all sorts of questions. But can ChatGPT be used for AI property investment? I tried it out for myself to find out!
If you ask this AI tool about property investment, it will give you some common sense information about getting started. This could be useful if you are new to property, but is ultimately the sort of information you could easily find on Google yourself. If you ask ChatGPT to find you property deals, it will simply tell you that it can’t do that. ChatGPT is designed to give general information and doesn’t have up-to-the-minute data to look at. This AI can’t search RightMove and find you a deal, for example. On the other hand, it might be able to give you instructions on how to search the internet to find property investments.
2. Using DealSourcr For AI Property Investment
Clearly, ChatGPT isn’t the best option for AI property investment, but there is another platform to consider, DealSourcr. I love this company so much that I actually own shares in it! DealSourcr is the best option for AI property investment. It allows you to find everything from below market value deals to properties in negative equity (perfect for lease option agreements).
This AI tool is great for property investors and even better for deal sourcers. If you are a property investor who is willing to put in the work, the days of paying deal sourcers could be over. On the other hand, if you are a deal sourcer, using this tool could hugely cut down your work load.
3. What Isn’t Automated In AI Property Investment
Of course, DealSourcr can’t do everything. You will still need to view the properties, get builders quotes and speak to letting agents. That means as an investor, you might still prefer going to a deal sourcer rather than using this tool for your property investments.
If you are a deal sourcer, this is a great time saving tool. That said, there are still a lot of tasks to be done that AI can’t do, and you will still need to be willing to put in the work.
AI is an effective tool for property investment, but there is still a need for real human property investors. No matter how good a tool might be, you still need someone with real expertise to check its work.
