Events Scanner for Inner Circles / Sunday Social & Site Visits
Thank you for being a leader of one of our Samuel Leeds events!
To help streamline the check-in process, we are pleased to be able to provide a scanner app. This makes checking in attendees a breeze by scanning a QR Code on the person’s ticket. No need for a spreadsheet, pieces of written paper or asking for the right spelling.
Using the app means we can instantly grant gamification points to attendees, ensure their records are updated for attendance and create less admin for event hosts.
Getting setup with take about 5 minutes following the next couple of steps.
Head to your phone’s app store and download the ‘Events Tickets Plus’ scanner. You can find the relevant buttons below to download it:
Great stuff, when your app in installed.
You should see this screen. Please click ‘Insert Details Manually’.
You will then need to provide the following details for two fields.
The website URL will always be: https://www.samuelleeds.com
As for the API Key, you will have been provided a unique key for your event. If you are unsure of your API Key, please speak to customer service member.
It should look like the following as an example.
Make sure to press the ‘connect your site’ button. Once this is done, you will not need to provide this information again.
You will then be met with the main page you will see when the app loads. This will have a blue button to say ‘start scanning’ When clicked, it will typically ask your phone for camera permission.
Please ensure you allow this.
That’s a wrap! You will now be able to scan event tickets using the app and are ready to host your event.
