How To Use Your “Right To Buy” With No Money | Full Explanation in 7 minutes

In a recent video, I discuss the Right to Buy scheme for people with council houses. You need this secret if you want to own your council house this year! Even if you think you can’t afford a deposit on your property, there is a way around it. I really think that learning exactly how this process works will be revolutionary for so many people in council houses right now.

In this article, I will take a look at the 3 things that could help you to buy your council house in 2022. Read this article until the end to have the opportunity of a lifetime!

1. Right to buy discount

This is the first and most obvious advantage of using your ‘right to buy’, the discount. The longer you have lived in the house the bigger the discount. Right to buy is only available in England as both Wales and Scotland have scrapped it. It is possible England could scrap this opportunity at some point in the future as well, so you should act on this right as soon as you can.

There are many people out there who have this option but think they cannot afford the deposit. This stops them from buying a property at a great price and means they are unable to get themselves into a better situation. But they are wrong, which I will explain in the next point.

2. No deposit option

You don’t always need a deposit. There are mortgage lenders out there who are willing to consider the discount as the deposit and therefore you don’t need to put any money down yourself. This means that you don’t need to save for a deposit at all and can simply buy the house. You will still need to pay the mortgage but you will no longer have to pay rent.

There will still be some money to pay in terms of legal fees. Although this is a small amount of money compared to putting down a deposit, I know there are people that simply can’t afford even to pay that. For some people, the choice is between heating and eating; there is no money left at the end of the month for legal fees or anything else. Luckily, I have a solution for that too, although this is just for a few people. I’ll explain in the next point.

3. I will pay your legal fees

If you have the right to buy your council house and you don’t need to put down a deposit, but you can’t get the money together for the legal fees, I’ll pay them! If you are not in that position but you know someone else who is, let them know about this as well. You can message me on Instagram and tell me about your situation.

Obviously this isn’t an unlimited offer, and if I get to many messages, I won’t be able to help everyone; but if you act fast there is a chance that I will be able to help you. I look forward to speaking to you, and hopefully I will be able to help you out!
