I’ve got some big news and an opportunity for the right person. We are looking for a Full Time Videographer and Social Media Specialist. You will be working exclusively with me, so it’s a very fast paced and demanding position. I want to work with someone on a 12-month contract creating and promoting video content across my social media channels. You will be following me as I document not only my own success in the property world, but also the success of my students. You will need to have the expertise necessary to create awesome content and the knowledge of marketing to promote it.
You will need to be able to start work in January 2022 on a 12-month contract with a salary of £25k per annum. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience and enjoys creating the type of content I am known for. This placement will be hard work but comes with 8 weeks holiday over the year. In this article, I am going to go over some of the qualities you will need to get the job (aside from skills in videography and marketing).
1. Make work a priority
I am a workaholic and you will need to be too. I am always on the move and travelling to different places to film. If you want this position, you will need to be prepared to put work above all other commitments and be available to film whenever and wherever. This is a full on placement and I need someone who is able to give it their all.
If you are the type of person that is always on the go and can focus on work as a priority, you are exactly the type of person I want to work with. If you have a lot of other projects on the go; prefer a more chilled out work environment; or otherwise cannot be fully committed for whatever reason, this may not be the job for you.
2. Coachable
I am looking for someone that wants to actively learn and improve. You need to be someone that is adaptable and happy to change the way they do things to meet the needs of the business. I am looking for a fast learner who can quickly pick up new approaches and styles of work. If you are coachable, you will gain greatly from this placement and I will help you improve as a marketer.
On the other hand, if you have a set way of doing things; you don’t like change; you find it hard to take constructive criticism; or otherwise cannot adapt quickly, you may not be the correct fit for this role. Be honest with yourself and consider if this job will suit you before applying.
3. Willing to drive all over the UK
I am always going up and down the country filming my projects and the progress of my students. You will need a full UK Driving Licence and a reliable car. You will need to be in Buckinghamshire or willing to move to the area. We will be on the go a lot of the time and you need to be able and willing to drive a lot.
