Palm Jumeirah is the famous man made archipelago in Dubai, in the shape of a palm tree. It is known worldwide, and I rent a villa there. Palm Jebel Ali is the new Palm. It is currently under construction, and is designed to be twice the size of the Palm Jumeirah!
Those that bought early in the Palm Jumeirah did extremely well, so many people are hoping for a second chance at those massive returns. However, just because the first Palm was a huge success, doesn’t necessarily mean the next one will be. So, is Palm Jebel Ali a good investment?

The Palm Jebel Ali is intended to be twice as big as the Palm Jumeirah! But that isn’t all. They have learnt from the Palm Jumeirah, so they intend to make the Palm Jebel Ali even better!
That means more space between villas, and addressing past problems, such as an issue with standing water which attracted mosquitoes!
2. Is Palm Jebel Ali A Good Investment?: Opportunities And Risks Of Buying Early!
Buying early is a way of getting an excellent price. If you are willing to wait for the project to be built, and happy to put some money down, you can get a great return on many projects.
On the other hand, it is a risk. You don’t know: what the end product will actually look like; what amenities there will be locally; or when the project will be complete. Take this into account when buying.
3. Is Palm Jebel Ali A Good Investment?: Formulas Over Feelings!
While we were tempted to buy a villa, we realised it didn’t make commercial sense for us at this time. Always think with your formulas, rather than your feelings, when investing in property.
In the end, we decided buying an apartment in the Palm Jebel Ali made the most sense for us!
