Samuel Leeds Criticism: I recently sat down and debated some of my critics. One person that turned up wasn’t like the others. He didn’t seem to believe what he was saying, it seemed like he was there on someone else’s behalf. What was really going on? Let’s find out!
I sat down with this critic, who turned out to be an acting student! He had a number of criticisms of me, from my role as a landlord to how I run my training business. You can see exactly what he had to say in the full video above or via my YouTube channel. In the end, I stopped the debate, because something didn’t feel right. He later admitted he had been paid to come and debate me!
It is important to realise that not everything is as it seems. When you see Samuel Leeds criticism online, take the time to consider the source. Does that person have an agenda? Have they been paid to say what they are saying? Have they been manipulated by bad faith media portrayals?
If you take the time to read the reviews by our students, or watch Winners On A Wednesday (which showcases our students’ success), you will see how effective my training and mentorship is. But as with every successful person, I have a tiny number of persistent critics. While some of these individuals may have genuine disagreements, others have their own agendas.
When you see something online, it can be hard to know what is real and what is fake. In this article, I will give you 3 tips for spotting bad faith critics. This will not only help you to evaluate the Samuel Leeds criticism you see online, but media on any topic. That way, you can make up your own mind, without being manipulated by other people.
If you see people falling for lies or distortions, consider sharing this article with them. Let’s encourage critical thinking, rather than blindly following critics! Please also consider sharing this article on social media to help get the message out!
1. Samuel Leeds Criticism: Consider Their Agenda!
When you see someone criticising others online, consider what their agenda is. Is there a reason they are saying what they are saying? Do they have an honest disagreement, or is something else driving them?
In this debate, at face value, my opponent was just a student with a point of view about landlords and property training. But it turned out he was paid to be there! Question people’s motivations and follow the money!
2. Samuel Leeds Criticism: Consider What They Are Actually Saying, Not What They Appear To Be Saying!
When the media has an agenda against someone, they will imply things about them. They will word things very carefully to avoid being sued for defamation. However, they will often leave the casual reader with a misleading impression of the situation.
Often the headline won’t actually be backed up by the story. If you read the story carefully, you will realise they are not saying what you thought they were. Look for lines like “there is no suggestion that…” or similar phrases designed to protect them from liability.
3. Samuel Leeds Criticism: Consider Their Attitude!
If you have a bad experience with a business, but your friend has a good experience with them, you would accept that. You wouldn’t claim your friend was lying or had been misled. That’s because you don’t have an agenda!
If someone is an honest critic, they will be fine with you having a different view or experience. If a critic doesn't accept any other viewpoint, they likely have another agenda!
