I respect Nigel, and have actually endorsed Reform UK, but there are some policies that we don’t see eye-to-eye on! 1. What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Drastically Cutting Legal Immigration!
Reform UK want to drastically cut legal immigration. While I oppose illegal immigration, I am a big supporter of immigration when it is done right.
We shouldn’t limit the number of people who come here to work. Instead, we should simply not allow them to claim benefits! If they can support themselves, they can stay. If not, they can go!
2. What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Removal Of Indefinite Leave To Remain!
Nigel Farage wants to remove people’s indefinite leave to remain status. I don’t know if the government should have granted this status or not, but the reality is they have!
It is unfair for the government to go back on its word, and remove people who have now created lives for themselves in the UK based on that promise.
3. What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Salary Requirements For Immigration!
Another thing Reform UK want is to increase the salary requirements for people coming to the UK. I don’t support this.
If people can support themselves, without using our benefit system, they should be able to stay!
4. What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Employing British People First!
Reform also wants to ensure businesses employ British people first. I don’t agree with quota systems, no matter who the beneficiary is.
I don’t support so-called ‘positive discrimination’ where companies hire people simply because they are women or ethnic minorities. By the same token, I don’t agree with employing British people first. The person who should get the job is the best candidate, regardless of background!
5. What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Sceptical Of Multiculturalism!
Nigel Farage seems sceptical of multiculturalism. I, on the other hand, love multiculturalism!
Of course, all immigrants should respect the laws and customs of their host country, but they should be able to celebrate their culture too!
What Is Wrong With Reform UK?: Whether You Agree Or Disagree, You Have More Impact With Money!
What is wrong with Reform UK? In my opinion, a few things. But overall, I like Reform UK. Whatever your views on politics, though, you can have a bigger impact if you have money!
