1. Is Buy-To-Let Dead In The UK?: Get Paid For Guests, Not Tenants!
Rather than renting out your property as a single let, rent your property out for short or medium term stays. This could be by offering your property as serviced accommodation for tourists, but there are several other options to consider too!
You could provide emergency accommodation to the local council, or offer your property for companies to rent for their staff. This can bring in £1000 per month profit from a regular property!
2. Is Buy-To-Let Dead In The UK?: Secure Property Without Buying!
You don’t need to own a property to control it. You can rent a property, and then offer it for use as serviced accommodation, for example! This is known as rent-to-rent, and it is perfectly legal with the correct permissions and contracts in place.
You can also secure the option to buy the property in a fix period of years, at a fixed price. You can do this with a purchase lease option agreement, and it is a great way to build a portfolio for the future.
3. Is Buy-To-Let Dead In The UK?: Force The Value Up!
You don’t need to sit and wait for your property to go up in value. If you buy the right house, and know what you are doing, you can force the value up. Find properties with problems you can fix in a way that increases the value substantially.
Use the Buy, Refurbish, Refinance, Rent (BRRR) strategy to pull all your money out in the form of a mortgage. Then use the money to grow your portfolio further!
