3 Signs Of A Fake Rich Person! Could You Spot a FAKE Millionaire?

3 Signs Of A Fake Rich Person: Can you tell that somebody's a millionaire just from the way they carry themselves, the way they talk, the way they walk, the way they act? In a recent video, we found out exactly that! In this social experiment, I was with a group of complete strangers. None of us knew each other; they didn’t know me, I didn’t know them. We all had to say we were millionaires, but in reality only I was! If you want to see if the judge could pick me out, please watch the full video at the top of the page.

A lot of people want you to think they are rich. This could be: for social clout; to improve their dating prospects; or because they want people to do business with them. It can sometimes be hard to tell who is rich and who is faking it. Many fake rich people have the trappings of wealth, whether that be cars or clothes, so people are often fooled. That said, there are some telltale signs that someone is pretending to be rich. In this article, I will give you 3 signs of a fake rich person!

3 Signs Of A Fake Rich Person: #1. They Don’t Know Their Facts And Figures!

In this social experiment, one of the participants didn’t know her supposed net profit. Not knowing important facts and figures about their business is a clear sign someone might be a fake rich person! Business people and entrepreneurs understand what is going on in their business and their industry in general. If someone is having a hard time with simple questions, they may have something to hide!

That said, this doesn’t necessarily mean that every business owner knows the smallest detail about their business. Entrepreneurs do not tend to micromanage and, therefore, are likely to give a lot of latitude to leaders within their organisation.

3 Signs Of A Fake Rich Person: #2. They Make Huge Claims They Can’t Back Up!

One participant claimed to be the accountant for Logan Paul! When challenged as to why a huge American YouTuber would have a small accountancy firm in the UK represent him, she didn’t have a good answer. If someone makes massive claims in real life, but cannot back them up, there is a good chance you are talking to a fake rich person.

There is a caveat to this, however, just because someone doesn’t want to prove something to you specifically, doesn’t mean they are a fake rich person. Many rich people are very private about their business dealings. There needs to be a good reason for them to want to prove things to you, such as going into business together.

3 Signs Of A Fake Rich Person: #3. They Lack Calm Authority!

A rich person is very willing to ask direct and challenging questions. They will tend to appear authoritative in most situations, even ones they are new to. That said, this will normally be a calm sense of authority. Rich people are already genuinely confident, and therefore don’t need to throw their weight around or act like they have something to prove.

Real rich people also want to learn from others, and therefore ask a lot of questions. Fake rich people only talk about themselves and act like they have nothing to learn, even from extremely successful people. Look for an authentic sense of self-assurance, if that is lacking it may be one of the signs of a fake rich person!
